Adventure Camps

At Sonder, we run both group and bespoke one on one camps! If you are interested in meeting some like minded people whilst experiencing an epic adventure, reach out below.

Our group camps are typically aimed at getting ‘out and about’, whether that be camping/4WDing in the Victorian High Country, snow skiing at Mount Hotham, fishing on Fraser Island or adventuring in the NT desert! Our camps are all about getting out and about and living life to its fullest.

If you don’t see a trip below that you like, or would prefer a one on one experience, reach out! We often work with our participants/families to organise bespoke trips away catering to exactly what you like.

Enjoy a 2 night getaway in the picturesque Murrindindi. We will explore nearby trails, enjoy camp cooked meals and sit around the campfire. This camp is for female/non binary identifying participants only.

VIC – Melbourne Urban Camp (Fortress/AFL)

  • 8th - 10th May 2024
  • VIC - Melbourne
A chance to escape into the city and enjoy some of the fantastic events, opportunities and experiences has to offer. This camp we will be out and about exploring some of Melbourne's food and craft markets by day, and dinner and group games at Fortress and possibly even a Thursday night AFL game for any footy lovers. Options are flexible and open to requests and suggestions for events.

NT – Finke Desert race!

  • 4th - 11th June 2024
  • NT - Alice springs
We will camp out in the desert and attend the Finke Desert race event and explore Uluru/surrounds! The Finke desert race is described as: "The Tatts Finke Desert Race is an off road, multi terrain two-day race for bikes, cars & buggies through desert country from Alice Springs to the small Aputula (Finke) community. The race is held each year on the King’s Birthday long weekend in June. “Finke” as it is commonly known, is one of the biggest annual sporting events in the Northern Territory and has the reputation of being one of the most difficult offroad courses in one of the most remote places in the world. Finke is unique and the most fun you can have with a helmet on!"

We head off from Macalister Gorge making our way up Green Hills track, onto Cobb Spur track, over Violet Hill and S1 Track. What an epic day climbing out of Macalister Gorge and over the ridge lines, and we found a pretty special campsite in the clouds.

Come check out our 4WD ADVENTURE into the Big Desert and Murray-Sunset Desert in Victoria supporting NDIS participants to experience some of the best our Australian Bush has to offer. What an epic trip! We gave the Big Dune a crack, snaked our way through the Sunset Track, checked out the Pink Lakes and camped in some stunning places!
