Hi, I'm Alex

Hi, I’m Alex :) My background is in media, and I’ve worked as a filmmaker for many years. I decided to leave that industry and try something where I can really help people. I’m a good communicator and a great listener. I love getting to know new people, and finding common interests that we can enjoy together. I love to have a chat, but I also don’t mind a bit of quiet time. I like to think I have a good sense of humour, and I don’t take myself too seriously. My favourite hobbies are wood carving and meditation. I love spending time in nature, particularly at the beach. I’ve recently started surfing too, which is a lot of fun. I love watching movies and TV shows. My favourite movies are the Lord of the Rings films, and I love watching Japanese anime as well. I love music, and have been playing the guitar for a long time. I’m into sports, especially basketball, netball, football and tennis. I have a border collie puppy called Jean, who I love very much. I think that treating people with kindness and compassion is the best path to happiness. I look forward to hearing from you :)
